Job Summary:

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a state-approved medication aide course.
- Certification as a Medication Aide in South Carolina.
- Prior experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow medication administration procedures accurately.

Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents according to the prescribed dosage and schedule.
- Maintain accurate medication administration records.
- Monitor residents for any adverse reactions to medications and report them to the nursing staff.
- Assist with documentation and reporting related to medication administration.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures related to medication handling and administration.
